Dr. Andrew Rogers is an innovative strategist and mission-focused senior executive leader. He has built and grown businesses and has a successful history of providing the strategic focus, operational expertise, and financial acumen necessary to architect, transform, scale, and create shareholder value for organizations operating within challenging global product and service markets. Andrew has acted as an advisor to private equity firms and currently serves as a director for non-profit and private company boards.
During Andrew’s twenty-six-year career he has successfully grown a number of businesses delivering a wide variety of aerospace and defense-related technologies. Most recently, he was Vice President, General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) Maritime and Strategic Systems leading the Strategic Initiatives Group and previously the company’s Undersea Defense Systems business. Prior to working at GDMS, he held several executive leadership positions in both small and mid-tier companies including president of QinetiQ North America, a global high-tech leader in R&D and mission-essential capabilities to commercial and defense markets worldwide.
Andrew received his Ph.D. in Applied Marine Physics/Ocean Engineering from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. In the years since, he has furthered his studies in management at the Harvard Business School, Georgia Tech Scheller School of Business, and MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
