ADG IS SURVIVABILITY
ADG provides military and tactical customers around the world with a growing and diversified portfolio of products that span the survivability spectrum.
Whether operating on Main Supply Routes (MSRs), city streets, or rocky trails, the Husky’s radar and sensor systems are the world’s best for countermine and non-conventional explosive detection. CSI also provides blast survivable and mission configurable vehicle platforms that have been extensively deployed throughout both Iraq and Afghanistan. These counter-IED sensor systems and platforms have been recognized as world leaders in design, development, and integration. Detection by detonation is not an option. All vehicles are provided in collaboration with DCD Protected Mobility (www.dcd.co.za), CSI’s trusted vehicle manufacturing partner.
TWO OPERATORS. LONGER MISSIONS. SOPHISTICATED SENSORS.
The need for longer missions and advanced detection systems prompted the development of the two-operator Husky 2G. The Husky 2G was designed with the same protection, survivability, and mobility characteristics as the original Husky MKIII VMMD. The innovative vehicle design of the Husky 2G was recognized as one of the U.S. Army’s Top Ten Inventions of 2011.
As the threats facing the warfighter have evolved, so has our equipment. Husky vehicles are no longer fitted with only a metal detection system but also sophisticated high sensitivity detectors, ground-penetrating radar, and video surveillance equipment. These technological upgrades have also created the need for a second operator. The addition of a second operator allows the driver to focus on vehicle control, while the commander monitors and analyzes the sensor systems and surrounding environment.
